LORCAN KILROY

Lorcan Kilroy is an Irish-American  character actor based in Los Angeles. He is known for his warm yet world-weary presence and compelling dramatic range.

Equally at home as seasoned professionals, authority figures and complicated everymen as he is as complex villains and unsettling figures in horror, Kilroy brings authentic life experience and emotional depth to every role.

Born in Nashville and raised between Dublin and London, he is the son of Booker Prize-shortlisted Irish playwright Thomas Kilroy. He made his first stage appearance as a child in John Arden and Margaretta D'Arcy's The Non-Stop Connolly Show at Dublin's Liberty Hall, co-directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Jim Sheridan.

Following a full scholarship to the Williamstown Theatre Festival, where he was cast in a mainstage production of Royal Family opposite the late Christopher Reeve and Karen Allen, he went on to train personally under legendary acting teacher Sanford Meisner.

A retired K-12 art teacher, he now brings years of craft, classroom, and life experience to film, television, and theatre, with a range that moves powerfully from sympathetic to sinister.

Based in Los Angeles, Lorcan Kilroy is a SAG-AFTRA member available for film, television, and stage. His credits focus on character-driven work rooted in Irish, British, and American storytelling.
